Angela Dupree Fisher

Angela Dupree Fisher was born August 7, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of the late John Dupree, Sr. and the late Mattie Bonner Dupree. She was the oldest child of four born to this union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fisher, Sr., brother, John Dupree, Jr. and her sister, Shirley Dupree. Angela received her formal education with the East St. Louis School District and graduated from Lincoln Sr. High School. She confessed a hope in Christ and attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized at the age of nine. In 1968, Angela was united in Holy Matrimony to Richard Fisher, Sr. Most of her years she worked in the home, rearing her children and caring for her husband and later she pursued a career working in childcare.
