Mrs. Anna Lois Lindsay was born in Lamar, Mississippi on June 14, 1951 to the union of Thomas and Ilean Thompson. Her parents, one brother, Thomas Thompson, one sister, Clara Thompson and one grandson, DeRez Griffin preceded her in death. Anna excepted Christ at a very young age, under the leadership of the late Rev. R.B. Lyles. Anna rededicated her life to Christ in August of 2008, under the leadership of Pastor Hayes. She attended Elementary, and High School in District 189 in East St. Louis Illinois. Anna got a certificate as an CNA, and took a job at a local nursing home where she became a permanent employee and was also employee of the month. Anna took her love everywhere she went, and affected everyone she touched. She had lots of love to give, and she will be missed. Anna leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Charles Lee White Jr.; four daughters, Lonetta (Preston) Rushing, Chrisshawn Smith, Romona Allen, and Marjorie Lindsay; one nephew, Thomas Thompson Jr.; Her one and only aunt and best friend, Ester B Cummings, eight grandchildren, Ivan Robinson, Mia Smith, Ashley Haynes, Jasmine James, Micah Smith, Brittany Rushing, Jacki Smith, Vincente Jackson and Desiree Henley; twelve great grandchildren; three special Goddaughters, Tyika David, Satofia Cummings, and Felicia Bullard; a host of cousins and friends.
