Charles E Williams

Mr. Charles E. Williams was born on June 29, 1947 to the union of Lemit Williams, Sr. and Joanna (Taylor)Williams in St. Louis, Mo. He is preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Lemit Williams, Jr. Joe Leonard and sister; Sarah Williams. Charles better known as Hosea to family, friends and his church family here at Southern Missionary Baptist where he sang with the male chorus. Hosea received his education in the Madison, IL. School District. He was employed at the American Steel Foundry in Granite City, IL. Hosea loved to cook but his passion was to Bar-B-Que, so you better not get in between him and his grill. Hosea departed this life on March 10, 2017 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. surrounded by his family. Charles E. “Hosea” Williams leaves to cherish his memory five sons; Charles Jr.(Pam)Williams of Arkansas, Cary Grant Williams of St. Louis County, Elbert Robinson of Madison, IL. Warner Young of St. Louis, Mo. Jeremiah Noblin of Madison, IL. and one Daughter; Madeline(Jessie) Leonard of Maryville, Il. two brothers; Willie (Sandra)Williams of Shiloh, IL. and Louis Williams of Madison, IL. six sisters; Allease Rich of Collinsville, IL. Alice Ward of Madison, IL. Bertha Lorice (Thomas)Malone of Edwardsville, Il. Synolia “Dimple”(Joseph Jr)Cannon of Godfrey, IL. Lois(Robert Jr.)Chavis of E. St. Louis, IL. Wilma Cannon of Madison, IL. Grand children one great Grand daughter. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and special friends.
