Joe Willie Fenton

Mr. Joe Willie Fenton was born July 25, 1937 to the union of Jim B. Fenton Sr. and Willie Hunter-Fenton in Columbus, Mississippi. Joe Willie received his formal education in the Rock Hill School Dist. In Columbus, Mississippi. He later moved to E. St. Louis, Il where he met and married Pearline Burrage-Fenton, June 11, 1961. To this union two children were born. This marriage was later dissolved, However, they remained friends. Joe Willie attended Oak Grove Baptist Church with family. He was employed by Morris Tire Company and his last place of employment was Lefton Steel Company. Joe Willie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed the excitement of watching the Race horses and eating good food at the Casino. Mr. Joe Willie Fenton leaves to cherish his memory, one son; Ricky (Robyn) Fenton of St. Louis, Mo. One daughter; Renee Fenton of Cahokia, IL. Four brothers; Garfield Fenton, Charlie Fenton, Jim (Annie B.) Fenton all of E. St. Louis, Ill and Eddie(Burnie)Cohen of Greenville, IL. Four sisters; Ella Ma Bargney of Cahokia, IL. Rose (Vaughn) Haney-DeSha of St Louis, Mo. Stella Fenton and Kate Fenton both of E. St. Louis, IL. Seven Grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.
