Mr. Larry Edward Shanes, 69, of E. St. Louis, IL departed this life on May 3, 2022, in St. Louis, MO. Visitation Service will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on  Friday, May 13, 2022, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1400 E. Broadway, E. St. Louis, IL.  Service will follow at 11:00a.m. He leaves to cherish his memories his two sons Lamarion (Erica) Shanes and Corey Walker both of E. St. Louis, IL; One daughter Tamisha (Anthony) Cooley of Cahokia Heights, IL; Four brothers Bennie (Yvonne) Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, Frank Shanes, Jessie (Wanda) Shanes, and Joe (Regina) Shanes all of Florence, AL; One sister Barbara Jean (Elbert) Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA; Six Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
