Lonna LeChien

Lonna Marie LeChien 78 born 8-13-45 passed away peacefully at her home on 8-14-23.
Lonna was preceded in death by her husband Eugene LeChien, son Herbert (Karrie)
Austin, and parents, Wanita and Herbert Whitaker. She is survived by her daughter Amy
(Michael) Shoemaker; five grandchildren, Adam Austin, Andrew Austin, Natalie
Shoemaker, Michael Shoemaker Jr. and Alaina Shoemaker; six siblings, Ronald (Pat)
Whitaker, Carolyn Lindsey, Deborah (Eddie) Marlow, Mada (Paul) Bisso, Herbert
(Donna) Whitaker Jr., and Patricia Whitaker and a large extended family. Lonna enjoyed
long drives, and playing bingo (she could cover a table with cards and keep track of
every one) but her greatest joy was spending countless hours playing board games with
her grandchildren. Lonna loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed. To honor
Lonna’s wishes, there will not be a formal service held.
