Visitation Service will be 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Greater Liberty Church of God in Christ, 1900 Lawrence Avenue, East St. Louis, IL 62207.  Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2022, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Jean Dixon of Granite City, IL; two sons William Dixon of Madison, IL, Joseph Dixon of Granite City, IL; one daughter Jeanine Dixon of Granite City, IL; three brothers Charles (Carmen) Dixon, Darnel (Yolanda) Dixon, Milton (Cynthia) Dixon all of Madison, IL; two sisters Erma (Simon) Morrow of Godfrey, IL, and Linda Selvy of Jonesboro, AR; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
