Patsy “Pat” Haynes

Patsy Mae Haynes was born August 24, 1935 in Glenn Allen, Mississippi to Lottie Green and James Lee. Patsy was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Lee Haynes and parents, three brothers; Charles Lee, James Lee, Willie Rodgers Brown; and one sister; Rosie Giles. Patsy M. Haynes was educated in Glenn Allen, Mississippi. She worked various jobs throughout her life, where she then became a diligent homemaker. Patsy M. Haynes received Christ into her life as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was a very spiritual person who had faith in the Lord. Patsy M. Haynes attended various churches in the South-end, East St. Louis area. She later attended Trinity Church where she served as a member on the Usher Board. Patsy M. Haynes was united in Holy Matrimony with Robert L. Haynes and was blessed with three children, Robert L. Haynes Jr., Shirley J. Haynes, Gloria J. Haynes. Patsy M. Haynes lived at the D1 Building Orr Weathers in East St. Louis for 19 years. She was a board member of the Orr Weathers. She also elected President of the D1 Building, where she served 19 years of Outstanding Leadership and Guidance with the Orr Weathers Reunion. Patsy M. Haynes passed quietly in her sleep to her eternal home on July 17, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital at 12pm, after a brief illness. Patsy was a prayer warrior for God and prayed for many people near and far. Patsy M. Haynes leaves to cherish in her memories one son Robert (Sherrie) Haynes of Centreville, IL; two daughters Gloria J. Haynes of East St. Louis, Shirley J. Haynes of Belleville, Il. Her Grandchildren; Robert Haynes, Robineisha Haynes, Natasha Haynes, Latonya (Henry) Waller, La-Via Haynes, Tyhessia Lewis, Teorie (Johnell) Evans, David (Clarise) McDonald Jr., Davion Haynes, Teunka Haynes, and Tekeia Haynes. She also leaves to cherish her 28 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Whom she loved whole-heartedly.
