He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Bobbie Hampton of East St. Louis; his three sons Orlando (Demetris) Ward of Belleville, IL, Rodney Frazier of Las Vegas, NV, and Aaron Hampton of East St. Louis; his father Sam Hampton of East St. Louis five brothers Alexander (Diane) Hampton of Las Vegas, NV, Warren (Delores) Hampton of Shiloh, IL, Arlander Hampton of East St. Louis, IL, Julian (Gloria) Hampton of Cahokia Heights, IL, and Sam (Jennifer) Hampton Jr.; one sister Carolyn (Carl) Collins of Fairview Heights, IL; Sister-in-laws Anita Hampton of O’Fallon, MO, and Marcia Hampton of Plano, TX; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,  and a host of other relatives and friends.
