Tyree Viverette

Tyree Viverette was born April 1, 1920, Union, Mississipppi to Jannie Huddleston Viverette and Doc Viverette. He was proceded him in death by both parents, and his lovely wife Edna Earl Viverette; eight brothers, Henry Clarence, Tommie, Leo, Wiley, Willie, Sam, Johnnie Viverette and Prentice Gardner and five sisters, Georgia, Estelle, Oney, Golean and Ruby. Mr. Tyree Viverette expressed a hope in Christ at Spring Hill Baptist Church. Tyree was educated at T.J. Harris Senior High School, in Meridian, Mississippi. He also attended Alcorn A & M University, in Lorman, Mississippi. He served in the United States Army. He proudly served his country during World War II in the European Theatre. He worked as a combat engineer in Italy, France and Germany. Tyree was united in Holy Matrimony to Edna Earl Wilson Viverette, June 28, 1943. Mr. Viverette worked at Unilever Incorporated until retiring in 1982. Tyree became a member of the Mozart Baptist Church which later became First Congregational Baptist Church. He was a long serving Deacon at the church and a member of the Food Bank Ministry. He also was the Deacon assigned to group number nine. After 97 years Mr. Viverete leaves to mourn his passing two lovely daughters, Ellla Jannett Viverette and Teresha Ann Viverette; one son Larry Tyree Viverette (Lucy)
