Veronica Mosby

A TIME TO BE BORN: Veronica Etoy Mosby was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on September 23, 1965 to the late Willie Joe and Luella Pitts Mosby. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Joe and Luella Pitts Mosby, two brothers, Robert Mosby and Johnnie Burris, one special aunt Priscilla Pitts. She departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2016. A TIME TO LIVE: Veronica, affectionately known as “Ronnie, Lil Ronnie, and sometimes Lil Moe,” dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. Ronnie attended East St. Louis Sr, High School. Ronnie worked several jobs, Clean Tech, St. Louis, Mo. SIU Dental School, Alton, Illinois, and the Good Will, Alton, Illinois. Ronnie had a great love of skating, where she was known as a regular, she loved shopping and wearing the finest clothes. Veronica was a very loving and free hearted person and was loved by many. She will be greatly, greatly missed by many. A TIME TO MOURN: She leaves to cherish her memory (5) Five children, Richard Hood Jr., Eshawndia Rush, Laquecia Edmonds, Fredricka Edmonds, and Ronnie Edmonds, (5) Five grandchildren, Heavenly Hood, Nikkiely Hood, Currency Hood, Ke’shawn Rush, and Akeem Edmonds (1) One brother, Ernest Mosby Sr., Miami, Fl., (2) Two sisters Simone Hicks, Louisville, KY, Vanessa Butler, East Saint Louis, Ill, (2) Two special nieces whom she helped raise, Ms. Latonya Woodiest of Louisville, Kentucky and Latonya (Pootie) Reeves of Washington Park, Illinois, (3) Three close cousins, Ms. Elenora (Teeny) Pitts, East St. Louis, Ms. Reisha Calhoun, Belleville, Ill., Ms. Andrea (Meek) Reeves, Washington Park, Ill.,(raised together as sisters) and (2) Two Life long dear friends, Felicia(Leisha) Washington Gibson and Richard Hood Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
