Wayde Wherry

Mr. Wayde Earl Wherry was born to the union of Admiral and Ceceil Ward Wherry on February 25, 1959 in St. Louis, MO. His father preceded him in death. Wayde attended Cahokia Sr. High School. He enjoyed working with his hands and rebuilding cars. He was employed by local 100 Union Hall. He also worked at his father’s tire repair shop. Wayde was the youngest of two children, and he loved being the center of attention. He was a daredevil and loved excitement. He was very adventurous and had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles. He had a soft spot in his heart for children and animals. Wayde will truly be missed by his family and friends. Mr. Wayde E. Wherry leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ceceil Ward Wherry of Centreville, IL.; one daughter, Candace P. Powell of St. Louis, Mo, one sister, Patrice Wherry of Atlanta, GA. two grandchildren. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
