Willie Wesley

Mr. Willie B. Wesley was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on October 18, 1923. His parents were John Wesley and Elsie Linda Rhodes. Mr. Wesley was the 2nd born of four siblings. He lived most of his life in East St. Louis, Illinois, St. Clair County. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, son, sister and brothers. He received his formal education in East St. Louis, Illinois. After serving his country in the United States Army, Mr. Wesley was employed by Great Lakes Containers as an inspector. He was united in Holy Matrimony with Willie Mae Bootchee on September 7, 1947. To this union, four children were born; Voncile Woodson, Rhonda Isom, Sonya Wesley, and one son that preceded him in death, Brian Wesley. Mr. Wesley was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed western movies and books. Anyone who knew Mr. Wesley, knew his hearty laugh and witty sense of humor. He was a blessed person indeed. Our beloved Mr. Wesley went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2017 Mr. Wesley leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters,Voncile (Larry) Woodson of Boca Raton, Florida, Rhonda (Anthony) Isom of Fairview Heights, Il., and Sonya Wesley of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
